Our opinion :
This traditional family-oriented hotel is in an ideal location on a superb sunny plateau at the heart of Ramsau-Kulm. The establishment is divided into 2 parts: a main building and the hotel. It has: lift, hall with reception, free Internet zone, large sunny terrace, restaurant, TV lounge, reading corner and bar in the annexe building with skittle alley. A sufficient number of parking spaces are available for guests. To keep you busy you can use: gym, table tennis, skittle alley, large indoor pool, sauna, infrared cabin and sun bed. Children can have fun in the playroom and playground. There is an area dedicated to animals. The pleasant rooms have bathtub or shower/WC, telephone, radio, safe, hairdryer, satellite TV and some have a private balcony. They are spread across the main building and the annexe. Animals are accepted with no additional charge.

The lovely alpine pastures which stretch out over Dachstein's southern walls are particularly inviting for lingering there and watching nature. There is an easy walk in this area, on well-marked paths and climbs, that lead around the larch-woods and to numerous viewing points, alpine cabins and mountain guesthouses.
A variety which can hardly be put into words, which is best discovered by yourself on the easy pasture walks. You'll come accross, for example, the picturesque view of the Neustattalm pasture, the scent of mountain blossoms, the ringing of cowbells, the shrill call of the marmots in the Bachalm pasture, and the never-ending view of mountains and valleys.

For decades Ramsau, the sunny high plateau at the foot of the striking Dachstein mountains, has been a favourite holiday resort for nature and winter sport fans. 20 km of pisted runs and 150 km of cross-country trails invite you to become acquainted with the beauty of the wintry countryside. The cable car brings you to the 'Dachstein glacier', an all-year-round skiing area with an altitude up to 2700 m.
The skier's paradise 'Dachstein-Tauern', with 140 km of pisted runs and 80 modern lifts, is reachable with a free ski-bus shuttle service.
