In the Tarentaise, Val d'Isère shares Espace Killy with neighbouring Tignes. This area is justly known as the most beautiful skiing area in the world. With its natural environment and traditional architecture, Val d'Isère is also one of the most beautiful resorts in France. This is a resort of high standing with well-off customers (30% English). The sports and non-skiing activities are excellent, but often with prices to match.
