St. Leonhard is a first-rate holiday destination located in the middle of the Pitz valley. It offers extensive tourist facilities, a warm welcome, and a gorgeous setting. The only drawback is in terms of the alpine skiing. In fact, the two sectors where you can go skiing are located above the village. There is the Pitztal glacier and the sides of this glacier. Although you have to take a shuttle or a car to reach them, these two sectors have fairly diverse terrain. Skiers and snowboarders of all levels will find terrain suited to them. But, experienced skiers and snowboarders may find the area limited. Everyone, however, will appreciate the extensive artificial snowmaking and the efficient lifts.
