Located at the foot of the Eiger, one of the Alps legendary summits, Grindelwald keeps to the ideal of the authentic mountain village in a majestic setting with wooden chalets and a convivial atmosphere. The ski area is interesting thanks to its link with Wengen and the possibility of purchasing a fixed price pass covering all the resorts in the Jungfrau region. The resort also has a number of leisure installations which make it attractive for a family stay. A pity, however, that the artificial snow is not used more extensively, as this would help make up for the low altitude of the resort.
