Only two kilometres from the bigger resort of Canazei, Campitello is a good starting point for visiting the Val di Fassa and indeed all the resorts in the Dolomites. The resort has developed around a picturesque village while at the same time preserving the traditional heritage of the South Tyrol hamlets. There are few directly accessible ski slopes and these are more suited to beginners. However links with the rest of the valley are easy and open up vast possibilities. In spite of its small-size evening entertainment in this small village is rather good.
